Plan the circuit around the appliance

A dedicated circuit supplies a particular appliance or item of equipment. The required supply, protection and connection depend on the equipment, the existing installation and the proposed route. Circuit work is different from automatically upgrading the whole service.

Serving Phoenix, Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Sun City and Scottsdale. Check service areas and confirm availability for your address.

Agree on the installation or repair scope

  • Review the equipment label and installation instructions, proposed location and existing loads.
  • Plan the route, suitable protection and receptacle, disconnect or fixed connection as applicable.
  • Identify access openings, outdoor exposure, permit requirements and restoration before approval.

What changes the price?

  • Equipment requirements and available panel capacity
  • Route length, surface conduit versus concealed wiring, and access
  • Trenching, disconnects, supporting panel work and finish repairs

Limitations and exclusions to discuss

A spare breaker space does not by itself confirm electrical capacity. Existing outlets and conduit need assessment before reuse. Do not repeatedly reset a breaker or use an extension lead as a substitute for a suitable permanent supply. Changes to utility service, appliance installation and wall restoration are included only when specified.

Discuss any applicable workmanship coverage and equipment warranty terms with our team before approving the work.

From assessment to completed work

  1. Send the appliance model, location and accessible exterior panel photographs.
  2. Review the electrical assessment and agree on the circuit and route.
  3. Complete the agreed work and review circuit identification and operation.

Before you book

Does every new appliance need its own circuit?

Follow the equipment requirements and applicable installation rules. Share the model information so an electrician can assess the supply. The appliance name alone is not enough to specify a circuit.

Can you use an empty space in my panel?

An available space is only one part of the assessment. The panel condition, compatible equipment, electrical loads and available supply must also be considered.

Will the wiring be visible?

Discuss surface conduit and concealed routes before approving the quote. Access, wall construction, outdoor conditions and restoration can affect which route is suitable.

Call to check the next available appointment. Same-day visits depend on the schedule and job requirements. Request a service appointment.
